Insurance for travel to Oz without Provincial Coverage?

I have been granted a Working Holiday Visa. I plan on leaving in 2-4 weeks for the full year. I will not have provincial coverage: I just moved to BC, have been here less than a month. Still covered for a few months under my OHIP #. Because I haven't been here long and I'm leaving, BC won't cover me. Need insurance advice, please!
